I've gotten into dry rub recipes because it's an easy way to add flavor to chicken. This recipe has a touch of sweetness to balance the spice. Throw the wings in an air fryer and you've got a quick and easy meal. Let's get cooking!
Wash and paper towel dry the chicken wings. Set aside.
12 chicken wings
Mix the dry rub ingredients in a bowl.
½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder
Thoroughly brush and coat the chicken wings with olive oil. Sprinkling the dry rub on all sides. Rub around each wing to evenly coat.
Place the wings in the preheated air fryer and cook at 400℉ for 10 minutes. Turn and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165℉.
