Cottage Cheese Queso
This is such an easy recipe. The cottage cheese makes this a good protein snack or appetizer that is delicious. You can garnish with your favorite ingredients and serve with either tortilla chips or vegetables. Give it a try!
Cottage Cheese Queso Dip
This is a nutritious spin on the traditional queso dip. Using cottage cheese adds some extra protein and really good flavor. It's so easy to make so give it a try.

Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese whole or 2%
- 1 cup cheddar and Monterey jack cheese blend shredded
- ΒΌ cup milk or milk alternative
- 2 teaspoons taco seasoning
- Tomato, jalapeno, cilantro, green chilis, green onions, cilantro or preferred toppings
- Tortilla chips or vegetables, for serving
Instructions
- In a food processor, add cottage cheese, cheese blend, milk and taco seasoning. Process until smooth, pausing and scraping the walls with spatula. Add more milk, if necessary.1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup cheddar and Monterey jack cheese blend, ΒΌ cup milk, 2 teaspoons taco seasoning
- Once it's reached desired consistency, transfer the queso to a medium size microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir and microwave an additional 15-20 seconds. Remove from the microwave and stir again.
