Fall In Love with Water

Fall In Love with Water

Did you know that our bodies are made up of about 60% water? That’s why we are encouraged by health experts to stay hydrated by drinking water. So how much water should you drink? The Mayo Clinic suggests that men should aim for around 15 1/2 cups of water daily, while women should shoot for 11 1/2 cups. If you’re pregnant, experts recommend drinking 10 cups, and nursing moms should aim for around 12. But with our hectic schedules, how do we make sure we’re getting enough water? Make it a routine to grab your go-to hot and cold water bottle whenever you’re heading out. I’m a big fan of a stainless steel bottle that fits perfectly in my car’s cupholder, keeps my drinks hot or cold and is fully insulated. This way, I never forget my morning coffee during drop-off or on my commute, plus I always have refreshing cold water ready when I’m busy and need to hydrate. So make water a priority in your self care routine and reference these resources to help. Enjoy!
