The Best Chili

This is the best chili recipe I have found. It's easy, delicious, and oh so good. You can modify it however you want to make it your favorite recipe. You can even adjust the ingredients to meet all dietary restrictions. Enjoy!

  • Heat the large stockpot over medium high heat.
  • Put cooking oil in the pan and heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes or until onions are clear. Add in your meat and sauté for 7 to 10 minutes or until beef is cooked through.
    1 lb. ground beef, ½ onion, 1 tbsp garlic
  • Add in beans, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and maple syrup. Combine and continue to cook on medium heat.
    1 15 oz. can tomato sauce, 1 15 oz. can pinto beans, 1 15 oz. can kidney beans, 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes, 3 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Add in spices and broth. Combine with the other ingredients and simmer.
    3 tbsp chili powder, 2 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp ground cumin, ½ tsp ground smoked paprika, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 cup beef broth
  • Bring all ingredients to a boil and reduce heat to low. Continue to simmer for up to 15 minutes or until desired thickness is achieved.
  • Serve with your preferred toppings. Enjoy!
