Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix

Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix
I really enjoy whipping up my own hot chocolate mix at home. It’s super convenient, simple to make, and tastes really good. I also get to choose the best ingredients for my mix. You can even put the mix in cute air tight containers and give it out as gifts! All the person has to do is add hot water, and they’ll have a delicious cup of cocoa. Equipment
- 1 storage container large enough to hold 5 cups of dry mix and use a container with a lid
Ingredients
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 ½ cups powdered milk or powdered milk alternative
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
- 1 teaspoon salt
Optional Ingredients
- whipping cream, marshmallows, or chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine all of the hot chocolate ingredients into a storage container Place lid on the container and shake until all ingredients are well blended2 cups confectioners' sugar, 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 ½ cups powdered milk, 2 teaspoons corn starch, 1 teaspoon salt
- When ready to serve, use ¼ cup of powder per 1 cup of water or milk. Stir well or until the mix is completely disolved. Top your hot chocolate with your favorite toppings and enjoy!whipping cream, marshmallows, or chocolate chips
