Jalapeno Watermelon Margarita

Jalapeno Watermelon Margarita
This delicious margarita is made with all the perfect ingredients to become your new favorite drink. It combines the sweetness of watermelon with a spicy jalapeno kick. It's so tasty, you've got to try it! Let's start mixing!
Equipment
- 1 blender to puree the watermelon
Ingredients
- 3 cups watermelon pureed
- ¾ cup tequila
- ½ cup lime juice freshly squeezed
- ¼ cup orange liqueur
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
- 2 jalapenos sliced and seeded
- 1 lime sliced in circles (for garnish and for rimming glasses)
- course salt optional, for the rim
- Tajin optional, for the rim
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, add in all of the prepared ingredients. Stir with a large spoon.3 cups watermelon, ¾ cup tequila, ½ cup lime juice, ¼ cup orange liqueur, 2 tbsp agave syrup, 2 jalapenos
- Use the back of the spoon to press the jalapenos against the side of the pitcher to release their full flavor.
- Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill until it is ready to serve.
- Prepare the glasses by taking a slice of lime and rimming each glass with a little juice from the lime.1 lime
- Blend equal parts of course salt and Tajin on a plate. Dip each glass into the seasoned salt. Set aside until the margaritas are ready to serve.course salt
- When ready, take the pitcher out of the refrigerator and fill each salt rimmed glass with margarita. You can add ice to each glass if you would like. Serve with a lime wedge on the side of the glass. Enjoy!
