I love a delicious margarita, but what I really enjoy is when it has a kick to it. This skinny spicy margarita offers a punch without all the extra calories. It’s easy to make, super tasty, and absolutely delicious. Let’s get mixing!

Skinny Spicy Margarita

Ingredients
 
 

  • 3 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 ½ oz 100% agave tequila
  • 2 tbsp orange juice freshly squeezed
  • ice

For the infused simple syrup:

  • ½ tsp light agave
  • ½ tsp water
  • 1-3 slices jalapeno to taste

For the rim:

  • For the margarita glass rim, mix the salt and Tajin in a bowl. Place the spiced salt evenly on a plate that is slightly bigger then the margarita glass. Rub a lime wedge around your margarita glass and dip the glass into the salt mixture. Set the glass aside.
    ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp Tajin, 1 lime
  • For the simple syrup, add the agave, water and jalapeno into your shaker. Muddle all of the ingredients to infuse the syrup with the spices of the jalapeno. Add in the ice, juices, and tequila to the shaker. Shake vigorously.
    3 tbsp lime juice, 1 ½ oz 100% agave tequila, 2 tbsp orange juice, ½ tsp light agave, ½ tsp water, 1-3 slices jalapeno, ice
  • Pour the drink through the filter of the shaker into your prepared and rimmed margarita glass. Serve and enjoy!
