- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb lean ground beef *see note below
- ¼ cup onions chopped
- ¼ cup green pepper chopped
- 1 cup beef broth or water
- 1 packet sloppy joe mix
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 8 hamburger buns
Instructions
- On medium heat, warm olive oil in a frying pan. Add in the ground beef and cook until the beef is thoroughly cooked and does not have pink.1 tbsp olive oil, 1 lb lean ground beef
- Transfer the beef and all of the ingredients into the slow cooker. Set the slow cooker to low setting and cook for up 6 hours.¼ cup onions, ¼ cup green pepper, 1 cup beef broth, 1 packet sloppy joe mix, 1 6 oz can tomato paste
