Mexican Dry Rub Chicken Drumsticks

Mexican Dry Rub Chicken Drumsticks
Cook up these easy, Mexican inspired dry rub chicken drumsticks in your air fryer. They go so well with a side of homemade black beans. Let's get cooking!

- 10 chicken drumsticks see note below
Dry Rub Ingredients
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp red pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400℉.
- Wash and paper towel dry the chicken drumsticks. Set aside.10 chicken drumsticks
- Mix the dry rub ingredients in a bowl.1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp red pepper, ½ tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder
- Thoroughly coat the chicken drumsticks by sprinkling the dry rub on all sides. Rub around each drumstick to evenly coat.
- Place the drumsticks in the preheated air fryer and cook at 400℉ for 10 minutes. Turn and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165℉.
- Serve and enjoy with my homemade black bean recipe on the side.
Notes
I made about 10 drumsticks so 4 people could get 2-3 each.
