- 2 pounds beef stew meat cut into 1-inch pieces; see note
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 4 carrots medium, sliced
- 3 potatoes medium, diced
- 1 onion medium, chopped
- 1 celery chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- Mix flour, salt, and pepper together in a medium bowl. Toss in the beef cubes and stir until well coated.¼ cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, 2 pounds beef stew meat
- Place coated beef in the slow cooker.
- Add in the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.1 ½ cups beef broth, 4 carrots, 3 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 celery, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon ground paprika, 1 clove garlic, 1 bay leaf
- Cover until the beef is tender enough to easily cut. If using the low setting, cook for 8 to 12 hours. If using the high setting, cook for 4 to 6 hours.
- Serve while hot. Enjoy!
