Dry Rub Chicken Wings

Dry Rub Chicken Wings
I've gotten into dry rub recipes because it's an easy way to add flavor to chicken. This recipe has a touch of sweetness to balance the spice. Throw the wings in an air fryer and you've got a quick and easy meal. Let's get cooking!
Ingredients
- 12 chicken wings see note below
- ⅛ cup olive oil
Dry Rub Ingredients
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400℉.
- Wash and paper towel dry the chicken wings. Set aside.12 chicken wings
- Mix the dry rub ingredients in a bowl.½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder
- Thoroughly brush and coat the chicken wings with olive oil. Sprinkling the dry rub on all sides. Rub around each wing to evenly coat.
- Place the wings in the preheated air fryer and cook at 400℉ for 10 minutes. Turn and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165℉.
- Serve and enjoy with my detox salad recipe.
