Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 ½ ounce light rum
  • 1 ½ ounce gold rum
  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • ½ ounce Amaretto or almond liquor
  • 2 ounce Cointreau or triple sec or orange Curacao
  • 1 lime freshly squeezed
  • maraschino cherry, lime, pineapple, mint optional; for garnishes
  • ice crushed

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the liquors and the juice from your lime in a shaker.
    1 ½ ounce light rum, 1 ½ ounce gold rum, ½ ounce Amaretto, 2 ounce Cointreau, 1 lime, 1 ounce dark rum
  • Add a generous scoop of crushed ice.

  • Shake everything vigorously in your cocktail shaker and then pour the mixture into a highball glass.
  • Spear the pineapple, cherry, lime wedge and garnish with a mint leaf.

Teriyaki Turkey Burger

  • Preheat grill on medium heat.
  • Combine ground turkey and burger ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Form into two patties and set them aside.
    ½ lb. lean ground turkey, ⅛ C onion, 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce, ¼ tsp sriracha, ¼ tsp ginger, ¼ tsp salt

  • While the grill is preheating, prepare the avocado sauce by blending the ingredients in a mini food processor until it is a smooth paste consistency. Set aside.

  • When the grill is ready, brush the pineapple rings and onions with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and place on the grill. Add the turkey burgers and grill all ingredients for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Remove the pineapple and onions and continue to cook the turkey burgers for a few more minutes or until they are not pink inside. They should have an internal temperature of 165℉. Toast the buns for 1-2 minutes.

  • Prepare burgers by placing them on a bun topped with the avocado spread, onions, and pineapple. Serve with a tossed green salad dressed in the extra avocado dressing. Enjoy this fun twist on an American classic.
